Hi, I see you're having trouble with your two Patriot Viper 8GB RAM sticks. It sounds like only one is being recognized. Your motherboard is an ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. PRIME B450M-K (AM4). Could be the dual-channel setup isn't working?

Are you utilizing slots 2 and 4? (starting from the left/CPU perspective). Consider rearranging the sticks if needed. Is there a single malfunctioning stick or a non-functional slot? Your motherboard can handle dual-channel memory.

Consider reinstalling it (remove power and reattach). If that fails, test one component at a time. If successful, check each position one by one to identify the defective slot.

I believe there are just two available spots. I plan to rearrange them later because I have school commitments.

Perhaps you should click, I’m not sure. Try reading the manual.
