Check if hardware is locked? Update the BIOS and reset CMOS when the two sticks are spaced two slots apart (1-3 or 2-4).

CPU-Z shows available RAM slots, yet it can't confirm their functionality. Consider running Memtest86 with a single RAM stick at a time to check for issues.

I attempted to refresh the BIOS and reduce its version, but it doesn’t work. Placing a stick in slot 2 gets it running, yet inserting one in slot 4 prevents any startup. Just makes a lot of sound without doing anything useful.
