Hello everyone I'm working on setting up a small modded server for us to play together. I've configured port forwarding on my router so they can access it from outside the network. However, whenever they try to log in, they're having trouble. I've verified the IP addresses and ports look correct. A more experienced friend helped me and they couldn't ping my router from their computer either. We've tried changing the MC server, checking if Java is allowed through the Windows firewall, and everything seems fine with my setup. My router is a TP-link Archer AX73 connected to a Huawei Echolife HG8121H OPN in bridge mode. I'm not very familiar with networking, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ahead!

Open the Windows firewall and activate UDP port 25565 manually. Verify that your internet IP address doesn't begin with 10 or 100.

It seems Windows or some third-party program like a firewall might be preventing access.

I included the rule in the inbound firewall section, but the update hasn't taken effect. My internet IP still begins with 100.

You're in a good spot, but your internet service provider is applying NAT at their side, so any changes you make won't let the ports pass.

This usually indicates your internet service provider has CGNAT active for your link. You can either contact them directly to confirm if they permit all future traffic to your IP or request a static IP, which is typically not available at no cost.
