In the Xbox gamebar I navigate to settings, then gaming features and see a message stating that this Windows version doesn’t support Direct Storage IO optimizations. I’m using Windows 10 Home and it doesn’t function properly, and the system doesn’t recognize my P5 Plus NVMe drive. PLEASE help! Edit: I’m certain my Windows is current.

You're not on the right game or platform. Turning it on won't help much, especially since it's already causing problems with Ratchet Clank. It seems to be mostly a Windows 11 feature, though it works in Windows 10 too. The full Direct Storage experience is mainly available in Windows 11 without much effort, so you might not need it right away.
