Issue with delayed keyboard reaction time.

I just upgraded my pc and every time I play a game and press a key it takes 2-3 seconds for the action to happen and it only happens in games. I've tried everything to fix it but nothing seems to work and I haven't been able to play anything. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

Does your keyboard use wireless technology? If yes, verify the battery levels. If it's wired, connect it to USB 2.0 and observe if the issue resolves.
