I just got dirt 3 during the free store promotion and started playing. After checking Task Manager, I closed the game. When I reopened it, the AMD logo appeared, then a black oval with a green border showed up on the screen. I could still interact with menus and races, but the HUD only displayed that information and nothing else.

The game retains the task bar and a white bar at the top even after uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Remove the Dirt 3 folder from your documents and attempt again. Usually, reinstalling a game doesn’t delete this folder.

The game doesn't like max AA, lower it and it will work.
