I have an MSI laptop equipped with an i7 processor and a NVIDIA 960M graphics card. I frequently encounter a MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION while playing CS:GO. The display freezes briefly followed by unusual sounds, then a blue screen appears indicating an error. This issue disrupts my gaming sessions, causing repeated cooldowns. Occasionally it lasts days or even weeks without happening, but sometimes it occurs multiple times daily. I’m not familiar with computers or technology, and this is really frustrating for me.

Use Windows Update to refresh everything, including drivers. If that fails, open Device Manager in the Start menu and look for your CPU and GPU. Right-click them and select Install Drivers.

The system indicates you're not an administrator despite being the sole user on the laptop. CORRECTION NOTED: I resolved the issue.
