I switched from a Ryzen 5 1600 to a 5600X and from an RX 570 to a RX 6600 XT. After the upgrade, when I attempt to boot, the CPU fan spins but the GPU doesn’t work. The case appears powered on, yet turning it off at the front isn’t possible—it stays on, so I end up shutting down the PSU in the back.

I’ve tried several things:
- Installing the previous GPU
- Installing one RAM at a time
- Re-seating the CPU
- Removing and reinserting components
- Checking if all motherboard pins are correctly placed
- Resetting CMOS or jumping the CMOS

Right now I haven’t used the old CPU, but I’ll consider that option. I thought it wise to ask for advice here before proceeding.

Was the BIOS updated to the newest release before you installed the new CPU?

How long has this device been in use and what systems did it support during its operation?

So you lost the boot even with the old GPU and no BIOS access? Restore everything to its original state and update the BIOS, then proceed with the CPU. If it works during WIN boot, use DDU to remove the graphics drivers and install the new GPU. If you still can't boot into WIN, set aside the new GPU and investigate the CPU problem. Let us know.

So you lost the boot even with the old GPU and no BIOS access? Restore everything to its original state and update the BIOS, then proceed with the CPU. If it works during WIN boot, use DDU to remove the graphics drivers and install the new GPU. If you still can't boot into WIN, set aside the new GPU and investigate the CPU problem. Let us know.
