I'm experiencing the same problem with my I7 10700k and MSI Z490 gaming edge board. All other games run smoothly at 5.2ghz overclock, but when I launch Cod it drops to 4.8ghz. I've adjusted AVX instructions to -2, -1, and 0 without success. Anyone have a solution?!?!?!

50 degrees c
I was able to run cinebench without any stability problems. This hasn't happened with any other game before.

THE PROBLEM WASN'T RELATED TO MY HARDWARE. IT WAS MSI DRAGON SOFTWARE DOWN CLOCKING THE CPU IN GAME MODE. TURNED IT OFF AND EVERYTHING IS FUNCTIONING AS INTENDED IN THE BIOS.
