I'm trying to get my PC running smoothly. I installed my motherboard's built-in overclock settings and set it to a 4.4 GHz boost. However, when under stress (using Prime 95), the CPU drops to 4.1 GHz and doesn't maintain the higher speed. Temperatures stay around 60°C during load.

Here are my details:
Motherboard: ASRock Z370 Killer SLI/AC
CPU: Intel i5-8600K
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED
Memory: 16 GB - Dual Channel at 3000 MHz
Boot Drive: 250 GB Crucial MX500
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1070Ti
PSU: Thermaltake 600W 80 Plus

I've looked online and tried several fixes like disabling Intel Speedstep and C-States in BIOS, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

Is the voltage adjusted by hand? It might require a slightly increased value.

I believe you require a quality power supply for overclocking
