Hey there! I just purchased a new laptop and started exploring the built-in control utility (see this link). The interface functions smoothly, with good fan speed control and smart charging. However, it crashes when I select the LED keyboard option. It's just a small inconvenience, but I'd prefer it to work properly.

I've switched to Windows 10 instead of the included Windows 11, possibly during a reinstall. Maybe some drivers got lost in the process. I've also applied all the latest Windows Update Center updates.

Could someone please assist with this? Thanks a lot!

Update your post with complete laptop specifications and operating system details. Check Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer; either tool might be recording relevant error codes, warnings, or events shortly before or during the crashes.

I figured it out, explored the system drive in the Program Files folder and discovered a folder that doesn't seem to belong to Windows. It contained several driver installer files, and after running them all, the problem resolved itself.
