Hey gamers, I own an RX 6700 XT from Asus and when I open Call of Duty MW 2.0 my display goes dark and the system restarts. Despite having the newest AMD GPU drivers, it still crashes. I've tried old drivers, updated chipset ones, reinstalled AMD Adrenalin, applied the latest updates, and even turned off hardware acceleration in Brave. Changing the RAM didn't help either. I'm feeling anxious about this issue. If anyone has advice, please share.

My PC specs: CPU - Ryzen 7 5700X, GPU - Asus RX 6700 XT (https://www.asus.com/motherboards-compon...700xt-12g/), RAM - 32GB at 3600Mhz (XMP 3200Mhz) from Corsair Vengeance (https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories...M2D3600C18), PSU - Aqirys Pulsar 750W 80+ Bronze (https://www.aqirys.com/product/pulsar-750w), Motherboard - Asrock B550 Pro 4 (https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B550 Pro4/index.asp).

Disable hardware acceleration in your apps, lower the GPU voltage to around 1100mV and increase the clock speed to 2350MHz. Have you tested different games and recorded their temperatures and power usage during play?

I’m not facing any issues with the temps—I’m at 50°C on the CPU and 60°C on the GPU. Regarding the BIOS, your motherboard isn’t recognizing the USB for the update.

i don't believe your temps are the main issue since you're seeing issues even with 50° cpu and 60° gpu. if you try to lower voltages it causes freezes and you have to shut down the pc. the games that keep crashing are fortnite, rocket league, cod mw2, and gta v.

No, the flash drive is not formatted to Fat32.

The last attempt was about six months prior, and I recall it was saved using FAT32. I'm trying to update the BIOS at midnight now.

You can test your memory using tools like Memtest86 or TestMem5. It’s possible your power supply unit isn’t working properly—you don’t know the brand. Are your settings default?

My system is running at default configurations. I shared it on another forum, and some users suggested it might be the power supply unit. I plan to run Memtest86 or TestMem5 to check the RAM. Thanks for keeping us updated!

I would attempt to reinstall and reposition everything meticulously (including the PSU side).
