It seems Black Ops 2 often fails right after launching via Steam, crashing into a black screen with a blue cursor. I've tried fixing things by reinstalling Steam, using admin drivers, and more, but it’s still slowing me down. This experience is making me question whether switching to PC was the right move.

Concerning the final part, COD is a console title. Very few people play it on PC. I recall Black Ops 2 (I tried it for a couple of days over a free weekend) would frequently crash due to some unexpected Windows issues. After searching, I discovered that the best solution was to reinstall Windows. I didn’t do it.

It seems you're asking about a "rapid-i erm." Could you clarify what you mean? Are you referring to a specific term, device, or concept?

It's fine, but I'd recommend upgrading your desktop first before purchasing a new keyboard.

The player seems odd too. My setup uses three monitors, and when I switch to 5900x1080 it works well on all screens except the right one, which appears black in about four out of five areas. Switching back to 1920x1080 fixes everything. Oddly, at that resolution—whether in eyefinity or single monitor mode—the text gets squished on my middle screen as if it’s forcing a surround setup onto one monitor. It’s quite frustrating. Since Black Ops 2 doesn’t let me adjust the aspect ratio, I’m stuck. I tried using my Intel HD 3000 graphics, and it displays perfectly at 25-35 frames per second on low settings at 800x600. The strange part is that multiplayer runs okay in Call of Duty, which is why I dislike Treyarch as a developer. In fact, no adjustments help on PC. I still can’t play Black Ops 1 smoothly across any graphics setting. My 6950 processor is only 2GB and it’s still not great. I still prefer IW before the Activision controversies in 2009, when they made solid games that ran properly.
