I recently observed that my GPU temperatures were extremely high, causing thermal throttling on my PC. I decided to repaste both the GPU and CPU at the same time. After doing so, I made sure all connections were secure, including the pole cables and fans. When I turned it on, it emitted 5 beeps but didn’t display anything. I attempted to isolate the problem by disconnecting the GPU and then powering it on, but it immediately triggered an automatic repair. I tried reseating the RAM and using a single stick, resetting the CMOS twice without success. I confirmed the CPU fan was properly connected and functioning. I’m really puzzled because I didn’t even remove the CPU to see what was happening. I’ve repasted both the CPU and GPU multiple times before, but it still doesn’t work. I understand there’s power supply for the CPU, and the fans and lights are operating normally. I’ve adjusted the cooler tightness to rule out that issue. Do anyone more experienced know what might be wrong?

the automatic repair could appear after a power outage when you manually handled the situation while the GPU wasn't displaying anything.
attempt fixing Windows using a boot stick.
verify all power cables are connected properly.
did you disconnect any SATA data cables? if the boot drive is SATA and you changed the cable on the motherboard to another port, it may prevent booting.
can you access BIOS?

I’m uncertain about fixing windows with a boot stick. I have a laptop and could try downloading the program from there. There was a cable near the RAM sticks that I had to unplug to reinsert the RAM, even though I re-plugged it back where it was originally. I don’t know what that cable is because I bought this PC second-hand. I can access BIOS through the blue screen, which offers several options.

is the cpu being identified properly by the bios? checking its frequency and name. which blue screen appears? use the microsoft windows media creation tool to generate a windows boot disk and attempt to fix your windows.

The beeping has ceased and I’ve just verified the bios—CPU is fully recognized, name and clock are correct, temperature is 31°C, and both CPU and GPU fans are operating normally. It seems it might be a software issue now.
The blue screen displays an automatic message indicating Windows detected a problem and initiated a repair, which failed. The system then offers to restart or open advanced options. I’ll attempt the Windows boot stick to test further.

In advanced settings, you may attempt to utilize the most recent restore point. Ensure the appropriate boot drive is chosen in BIOS (boot priority).

It states that system protection must be activated on the drive, but I couldn't do it via the command prompt, unfortunately.
