You can also perform these actions to improve and verify:
1. Execute these commands (run in CMD with admin rights, Power Shell as admin, or Windows terminal) to repair Windows chkdsk c: /scan DISM /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth SFC /scannow
2. Utilize Hard Disk Sentinel to assess your drive health and status
3. Apply IOBit Driver Booster to refresh your remaining drivers.

Thanks for sharing the details! It seems like your system is experiencing some instability, especially with the black screen and GPU fans. The fact that music kept playing while the screen went dark suggests the OS handled it smoothly, but reboots are needed to see a clear picture. Your GPU temperature was around 75°C before the issue started—this could be a sign of overheating. You mentioned testing the RX 6600 without it and it worked fine, which is good. However, you're now concerned about the RX 6800, especially since you're running higher settings and experiencing slowdowns or crashes. It might be worth checking the power supply unit for stability or replacing it if needed. Let me know what you find next!

I recently purchased and set up the Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V2 power supply, but the issue persists, suggesting the card might be faulty. I’m considering returning it to Newegg unless someone shares alternative solutions. It seems to occur around 75/76°C, though 76°C is generally stable for this model. Newegg’s return process is terrible—I have to pay shipping costs for a defective item they shipped me. It feels odd since Amazon handles it better. I’ll stop buying from them now.
