In short, I was checking if I could set up Hackintosh Monterey on my Asus Rog Strix GL753VD. I found an opencore EFI on GitHub that matches my laptop model. I downloaded a macOS 12 dmg and used Balena Etcher on Windows 10 to flash it onto my 2.0 Sandisk Cruzer USB. After the flash, I swapped in the new EFI and removed SuperIO because it was causing boot issues. Once that was done, the MacOS installer worked, I formatted the 150GB HDD as APFS, and the installation proceeded smoothly. During setup, I encountered a few problems: after removal of SuperIO, I could boot into macOS but had to reboot twice before it worked. On the fourth try, the BIOS displayed 'MacOS Monterey' instead of the installer, which was confusing. After rebooting, I tried accessing BIOS again, but every time I pressed F2, a black screen appeared. I’m unsure how to restore the BIOS or reset CMOS since different laptops have different methods. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
