Issue with BIOS settings or configuration.
You received the ordered components today and were eager to test them, but you encountered an issue: when everything is powered on, the BIOS appears briefly on the screen for a very short time—faster than you can react—and then the display goes black. What should you do? Stay calm and check the following steps.
The bios failed to display, only a black screen appeared after detecting a signal.
Have you tried reloading it again? Check if your MOBO bios is current—could be an outdated chip causing the problem. This isn’t something I’ve seen much before!
It seems like a motherboard issue might be present. Here are some possible solutions:
- Reconnect cables and restart the TV
- Use another cable or try a different one
- Reseat GPU and RAM; if that fails, remove the CPU and reinstall it
- As a last option, rebuild the system
- If you have a spare board, consider switching to it
Try reinserting the RAM or CPU once more. Occasionally a faulty board arrives, something like what happened with my GTX 960 earlier.
This motherboard belongs to a manufacturer you can identify by its design and features. You might want to check the label on the side or back of the board for the brand name. If you need help finding the correct software update, let me know the model number and I can guide you through it.
Follow the instructions to reposition the GPU. Integrated graphics are suggested for CPUs that support them, which can aid in determining whether the issue lies with the card or the motherboard. New items may not be available yet. If your CPU doesn’t support the standard VGA graphics port, consider using a spare graphics card to test and identify if the problem is with the motherboard or GPU.
I moved everything back in place and added an extra graphics card, but nothing changed. It’s a gigabyte model, and I’m unsure how to update the software for my motherboard—maybe you can assist with that. I don’t believe it has built-in graphics, and even if it does, the board lacks the necessary ports.
