It functioned yesterday, but after linking my PC to the TV once more, only the in-game audio remains working. Could you clarify?

Let’s begin with the basics: “Is it plugged in?” There are several connections in both windows, many games, and even some keyboards where sound might be muted. Has this occurred before? If not, try turning it off and on again. If that doesn’t work, restart the machine. If that fails too, reinstall the game. If sound remains absent, double-check step one again and if you’re still stuck, the fundamental steps might have failed—then someone more experienced would be better suited to help.
