Yesterday I bought an Asus Pro WS X570 ACE MB and paired it with a 3900x and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz memory Once I installed windows on a Samsung 970 Pro I installed all drivers and updated the BIOS through the EZ-Flash Utility to the latest version Mine had one from March Today when I went to turn the computer on it wouldn't power up so I unplugged the AC power cord held the power button for a minute and re connected it. Then I was able to turn on the computer Every time I shut my PC down now after ten minutes I have to perform the same procedure or it won't start I have loaded the optimized defaults and have only set the docp profile for my ram. No other settings have been changed I also tried downgrading my BIOS and the EZ Flash Utility won't let me I really need your help since this is a computer that I use for work and it's giving me a very hard time

The board has a bit of a grumpy vibe. Check the firmware section of the downloads page for patches for the RTL 8117 and ACCE. Have you tried installing them?

Does that indicate you've successfully lowered the BIOS version? If EZ flash isn't working, try accessing the BIOS manually and update it using an older BIOS version. I've encountered this same problem with a Gigabyte board.

I attempted to download the patches, but the RTL8117 zip file only includes an ISO, which I’m unsure how to use. The ACCE utility exists but doesn’t function properly. In the BIOS, the RTL8117 management service is turned off by default, so I don’t know its potential benefits even if installed.

Hello, Are your motherboard issues still occurring? Well, the rtl8117 runs a minimal operating system on its chip. Whenever you power it off—whether from the wall or the PSU—and then turn it back on, it will start up again. In BIOS you might attempt to disable the rtl8117 interface, which could help with booting. The remaining tasks are to avoid turning off power from the wall or PSU when switching off your system. The rtl8117 should stay booted and function normally. This seems unusual, though. I wouldn’t leave my PC idle for days without a stable power supply. You’ll need a highly reliable PSU for this setup. If you require the rtl8117, make sure to update its firmware as well. Regarding BIOS updates, clearing the CMOS might be necessary each time you change settings or add new hardware. Also, after updating memory or installing new components, you may need to reset the CMOS again. Hope this helps!
