Thanks for the update! The cards function well in the second slot—windows start, they sleep, then show a restart option. However, 3D apps cause issues there. I've tested multiple PCI-E cables and even swapped them out, but DDU works and drivers are updated. It looks like uninstalling drivers might trigger Windows to install a faulty one that disrupts the video signal for my monitor.
Returned to Microcentre and started using a Z490 Aorus Pro AX. First time on it. Really not impressed with Asus. Had two bad boards in a row. It’s strange how a $400 model can have such problems.
