I am using PC-Steam on Windows 11 and recently got Apex Legends. When I launch it, the system reports that my CPU doesn't support SSE3. My AMD Athlon X3 435 2.93 GHz processor does support SSE3. What can be done?

Start with STEAM and check the integrity of the game files.
Is your game completely updated and fixed? Consider using this alternative method. If it still won't start, run it as an ADMIN. You can also attempt to launch it in Windows Compatibility Mode.
Try this command line parameter setting.
Navigate to the Game library, right-click on Apex Legends, select Properties, click on Advanced launch option, locate the command line arguments and enter "-useallavailablecores" without quotes, save your changes, then restart the game.

I attempted to fix the library folder, and it worked once but then the same error occurred again ;/

Do you have any anti-virus or antivirus software installed? Review your antivirus logs. I experienced a strange problem with the built-in one in Windows 10 that stopped Skyrim from launching. Attempted to restart the STEAM client as well.

Some common reasons for this error are:

- Third-party AV interference
- Based on many user reports, the problem is likely due to an overly cautious security program blocking the game from connecting to external servers.
- The game isn’t installed in the standard Steam folder.
- This issue mainly affects Bethesda titles. It may happen if the game is placed elsewhere than the default location.

- DeepGuard causing crashes
- DeepGuard, a feature from F-Secure Internet Security, can interfere with games downloaded via Steam, especially those with multiplayer features.

The issue has changed; it's now the original SSSE3 appearing despite having SSE3 enabled, and it's still not functioning properly.

Thank you so much for your help but it looks like there is a difference between SSE3 and SSSE3 and I have SSE3 but apex wants SSSE3, this is just so stupid that I didn't think of that, thank you again but I guess the only solution is that I have to buy a new CPU for a damn game which of course I am not even going to consider doing.
