I'm dealing with an unusual problem that I'm not entirely sure if it's connected to the GPU, although I'm considering it.
I own a standard computer with an i5 12400 F processor, 32 GB of RAM, and a Geforece 1050 Ti GPU.
My preferred game is Skyrim Special Edition, but I also have other titles installed.
Recently, I upgraded to a new 3050 RTX 8GB GPU, and the performance has significantly improved, along with smoother operation. Video editing in Davinci Resolve is also running much better and exporting videos faster than before.
However, I've noticed that whenever I launch Skyrim after logging into Windows, I often freeze when trying to alt-tab. With the 1050 GPU, this was manageable, but now it seems problematic. The keyboard keys stop responding completely, making tasks like opening the console or using the END key ineffective. I play with a gamepad, so the keyboard issue isn't too critical.
Unfortunately, I can't take a screenshot with F12, which is frustrating because I sometimes need to capture a moment.
My usual solution is to exit the game and restart it, which works perfectly now. Keyboard control and alt-tabbing are functioning as expected.
I suspect this issue might be linked to the GPU change. When I switched from the 1050 to the 3050 RTX, I removed and reinstalled the drivers. From Nvidia's site, I used Studio Drivers instead of Game Ready ones.
I also installed MSI software to manage fan temperatures (MSI GPU), but I keep it closed at all times, not even in the background while playing.
I'm wondering if this is connected to the type of GPU I have versus the Ti model, or if a driver reinstall might help. I'm getting a bit frustrated, but I've tried adjusting settings like full screen, windowed mode, and borders.
I'm hoping someone has faced a similar situation before and can offer advice.
Thanks.

Build specs:
CPU: i5 12400 F
CPU cooler: Not specified
Motherboard: Not specified
Ram: 32 GB
SSD/HDD: Not specified
GPU: Geforece 1050 Ti
PSU: Not specified
Chassis: Not specified
OS: Not specified
Monitor: Not specified
PSU age: Included separately
BIOS version: Current version at the time
When switching GPUs, drivers were removed and new ones installed from Nvidia website using Studio Drivers (not Game Ready).
During GPU changes, it was recommended to run DDU in Safe Mode, disable all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia), power off the system, disconnect from power source and display, remove the old GPU, install the new one, then manually apply the latest driver from Nvidia support site via elevated command (Right click installer > Run as Administrator).

Did you install DDU or simply removed the driver from Windows? If not, review the pinned discussion for details.

This PSU poses a threat to your entire PC. Swap it for a reliable working unit immediately, unless you're willing to jeopardize the system.
