I began working with Premiere a few weeks ago and planned to create another video. However, the preview and sometimes the whole program would lag severely. It only renders about one frame every ten seconds. Despite checking my disk, RAM, and CPU usage, none reached 50%. I’m running an i7-3770 processor, 12GB of RAM, and a Seagate Barracuda 1TB drive. Premiere didn’t show lag until recently, so I’m wondering if the sequence settings might be the issue. I’m using 1080p at 60fps and changed the display format to individual frames a few weeks ago. I also tried different video previews, restarted the program and my computer, and reinstalled Premiere, but nothing helped. Any advice would be appreciated.
