Hi, I just finished assembling a new build and am facing an issue with the RAM. Using one RAM in slot A works fine, but when both are installed (A and B) or just in slot B, the system won’t boot. The fans spin but there’s no signal on the monitor. My computer specs are Ryzen 9 7950X, Asus Rog Strix X670E i gaming, Wi-Fi G.Skill Ripjaws S5, 64GB DDR5 5600-36 SSD, Gigabyte P1000G, Samsung 970 Evo Plus, and Windows 11 fresh install with BIOS updated to version 0822. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Send back the motherboard and RAM just in case. It might be only the board, but it’s safer to be sure. If you bought from a physical shop, return and exchange it. The same applies for Amazon.

I notice four possible issues: the CPU isn't properly connected to its socket due to contamination, bent pins, or a loose fit; the memory channel on the CPU is non-functional; the motherboard's BIOS version is outdated; and two of these depend on additional hardware. To address this, I'd first reinsert the CPU carefully, inspecting for bent pins or debris, and then update the BIOS to see if it resolves the problem.
