I've been experimenting with my CPU and noticed it's not reaching the multiplier I configured in the BIOS. Both BIOS and Windows 10 are current, power settings are high, turbo boost is enabled. I rely on CPUID Hardware Monitor, CPU-z, and the task manager's performance section for checks. While running Cinebench R20, 3Dmark, and Intel XTU, the BIOS CPU multiplier reads x42 yet displays only 3.8GHz from both tools. It shows the manually adjusted VCore when adjustments are made. XMP is active and BLK is set to 100. The OC preset on my motherboard changes BLK to 120 but causes boot issues. Could it be due to using two dual-channel RAM kits in an 8-slot slot board? Both kits are GSkill Ripjaws 4 DDR4 3200 (F4-3200C16D-8GRB).

You likely have an AVX offset configured at -4, which results in a clock speed reduction of 400MHz during AVX operations.

Just verified that the AVX offset is configured as auto with a value of zero.
