Issue with 35WN75C-B monitor not powering on after circuit breaker change—possibly adapter problem or another cause.
I've had my 35WN75C-B LG monitor with a curved ultrawide display. I recently added smart extension cords that include surge protection. At first, everything worked when plugged in normally. But when I connected my charger, it tripped the circuit breaker and the extension cord's surge protection. After resetting both, the monitor operated perfectly for more than an hour. Now it won't turn on, and the LED light is off. I've tried switching outlets, but that didn't fix it. Since I don’t have a voltmeter, I can’t test the adapter. Could this adapter be the issue? Anyone have any advice? Also, would it help if the cables were coiled? I’ve tied them up and secured the power brick with double-sided tape on the table.
Insert the brick directly into a verified working power source, ensuring nothing is obstructing it. If the issue persists, it may be the brick or the display that’s malfunctioning.
I connected it directly, but it didn<|pad|> to work. I'm still unsure if the issue is with the brick or the monitor. Since I don't have another device with the same connector, I bought a new brick to test.
