Do you have an extra storage device available, such as a SATA drive? You might be able to set up Windows there to attempt extracting the NVMe drives.

I'm heading home right now from work, and this was my next option if the 980 Pro isn't working. During lunch, I picked up an SN850X WD Black 4TB and began planning a fresh Windows 11 installation on it. If that succeeds, I think I might have a 980 Pro as a backup.

Well, you could try that instead. But I’d delete both current NVMe drives from the system. Just keep one drive on or enable it during installation.

I’ll keep the new drive for installation only when beginning from a clean slate with the latest operating system, but I can help you set up an OS if you’d like. Just let me know how you want to proceed!

You're seeing issues because a drive has Windows installed. If it's turned on and already set up, it might interfere with the old bootloader and cause problems. Removing the incorrect drive can help restore normal startup.

I’ll ensure it gets top priority and keep the previous version out of the system until we resolve this.

Fixed! The PCI 3 riser cable was a mistake for mounting my GPU vertically. The newer board didn’t work with it, so I had to bend some tubing myself to try again. Now everything’s good. I’ll keep testing more later today.

It's always the riser cable.

That's a rough cable—probably not rated for anything serious.
