How can I configure this setup to function at 144hz? I have the Zowie XL2411 monitor with DVI, HDMI, and VGA ports, and a TUF GAMING X570-PLUS paired with an MSI GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB Gaming graphics card. What steps do I need to take? Thank you for any help!

It doesn't seem like an active HDMI adapter will function either. The BenQ XL2411 supports multiple monitors, but their resolution chart doesn't suggest 144 Hz over HDMI. You'd likely need to switch to an active DP to DVI adapter, as Richie mentions.
(The base XL2411 is the only model without a DP connector)
You'd probably want something like this.

Adapters can be tricky, so I wouldn't suggest this. This would cost around $115 for a used monitor, since you're essentially purchasing your own to maintain your setup. Considering new 1080p/144 monitors are available for $140-$160, I...

The problem lies in needing to purchase an active HDMI or DP to DVI converter, typically costing between 80 and 120 USD. With that budget, you can often locate a used monitor featuring contemporary connectors. Remember, the converter must be an active one with built-in electronics for signal conversion. It’s easiest to confirm its authenticity by checking if it uses USB power or a separate DC adapter.

It seems the intended HDMI adapter won't function either. The BenQ XL2411 supports multiple monitors, but their resolution chart doesn't suggest supporting 144 Hz over HDMI. Keep in mind, adapters can be tricky to find. I wouldn't suggest this unless you're certain. This price of around $115 for a used monitor is questionable since you're essentially buying your own to maintain use. With new 1080p/144 monitors available for $140-$160, it probably isn't worth it.
If you still have time—within about 30 days—you could return the item and order a 2060 Super with a DVI-DL connection instead.
