Hello everyone, it seems it's been a while since my PC runs all fans at maximum when it's off or in sleep mode. I attempted a Windows reinstall, tried Linux, and even performed a CMOS reset, but nothing resolved the issue. Every fan, CPU, GPU, and power supply were spinning at full speed. It happened unexpectedly, and I didn't make any changes beforehand. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can adjust the fan settings in your BIOS. Make sure it isn’t set to maximum speed by default after resetting CMOS. Check whether you’re using the fan headers on the motherboard or a separate card/controller. It’s also possible fans could run if power is supplied directly from the PSU through a controller, even when the system is off.

Welcome to the new year! I've kept the same speed curve in the BIOS, left all settings at 100%, and connected only the fans to the motherboard headers. The new PSU is just two weeks old. I also tried booting on a test bench without any case fans or headers, but the front AIO still doesn't work—pressing the power button won't turn it on. Now I have to switch off the PSU first before it starts working.

There appears to be a configuration that keeps devices active during sleep, sometimes referred to as USB suspend or similar. It's typically used for RGB lighting and other features, though it's unclear if any components are connected incorrectly or if there are unusual BIOS settings. I'm okay with this, but I'd also consider resetting the CMOS, updating the BIOS, and possibly reinstalling Windows before ensuring no USB or RGB headers are connected to the motherboard. This might indicate a hardware issue, possibly related to the motherboard or power supply, especially since it's a new setup. Also, could you provide the full specifications? And does your system run Windows 11? Also, what happens if you shut down the PC normally via the Windows interface?

Hello, all components were new. Only the mouse and keyboard are connected via USB, along with an NVMe drive. I’m running it on the open test bench; only the CPU fan is linked to the motherboard. There are two drives—one for Linux and one for Windows. I attempted to swap them to check for differences. The issue persists even when I power off the PC from the bottom menu, and it also occurs when I shut down with both operating systems active. The only connections in the motherboard slots are: CPU fan, CPU power, MMO power, GPU, power switch, and TP-Link wireless/BT card. After turning off or putting the system to sleep through the interface, the fan problems continue, and I can’t restart or turn it on. This happened unexpectedly; no hardware, software, or BIOS changes were made, just a random shutdown.

Sure, I'll look into it and suggest a suitable power supply if needed.

Hello, it seems the issue resolved itself unexpectedly. Running Linux might have helped, but I'm not sure what to make of it. Thanks to everyone!
