Hey! I got a problem with GTA 5. Fps drops every 5-10minutes from 60 to 20 and stays there for about 20 seconds. I recently even bought new CPU and MB, so there shouldn't be a problem. Temperatures are okay, CPU max 50, GPU max 63. Things i have tried: -Lowering ingame settings -Messing up with NVIDIA Control Panel -Newest Drivers -Unparking cores and stuff -RAM & HDD tests Here is a video of this problem. Specs: AMD FX 8350 GTX 760 8GB RAM ASUS M5A97 LE R.20
Many users are experiencing issues after the latest NVIDIA driver was released. These problems seem to affect only a few individuals for unknown reasons.
It's not the processor. My weaker Phenom II X6 doesn't trigger this issue. Likely related to Nvidia drivers, since I'm using an AMD card instead. Or possibly VRAM.
I own a GTX 760 with 2GB of VRAM. It doesn’t matter if I use 1GB or 2GB; it runs fine at higher settings. Probably not the GPU issue, it’s better suited for GTA V. My friend with an FX 8350 and the same graphics card doesn’t have this problem either.
