Today I moved my PC and unplugged all the USB devices, then reconnected them. Now the mouse isn’t working. I tried plugging it back in again but got a "USB cable not recognized" error. I updated the firmware, but it kept showing "Waiting..". I also opened the software, which said the device was disconnected. The mouse LEDs are functioning, but I’m unsure what to do next.

Have you attempted using the mouse on a recognized functional donor device, such as a computer or laptop at a friend or neighbor's residence? If the problem continues on a donor system, it indicates the peripheral may be faulty.
