I found that running RDR2 with optimal power settings leads to brief FPS drops, usually due to GPU frequency spikes. Switching to Adaptive or other NVidia profiles resolves the issue but introduces a slight buzz from the GPU. There seems to be no perfect solution without compromising performance or causing noise. You might consider uninstalling the game if the trade-offs aren’t worth it.

keep power settings at their highest level unless you're using a portable laptop. sometimes it helps to undervalue it—maybe it's just a vibrating cap. or switch to headphones. I never really got into PC gaming and was concerned about background noise. These computers are meant for headphones or good speakers that mask the sound!
