If this also helps, I had a previous laptop with an i7 7th gen processor and a GTX 1050 Ti. When Windows was freshly installed, it worked well until a single reboot caused significant issues. Based on that, I tried installing Windows on my current PC but turned off all updates and automatic driver installations. I only downloaded the graphics driver, but it didn’t resolve the problem.
I've done a bit of research and I'm pretty sure it's related to desync, but with my case, it's a little different, cause even though on a lot of peoples POV's, they are getting shot purely through walls, mine isn't like that, mainly since I'm ethernet, and really low ping with business grade internet. But my hit reg is awful, and I do pretty much get insta-killed as soon as someone peaks me, I die straight away, and even when I peak others, there is 0 time to react at all, and even in CQCB games, I'm constantly being hit from so far away, but on other peoples screens, they are right on top of me, which would probably explain the awful hit reg since the positionings are constantly off.
I have a question about hit reg. As I understand it, it relates to your shots and whether they land or not.
But from what you’ve explained, you get hit right away when joining a game.
Not even time to shoot, run, hide, or anything else... Is that correct?
In any case, I did some research and found this link:

You mentioned in one of your earlier posts that you use a wired connection, which is good. Have you tried replacing the Ethernet cables?
From the link:
"If you really want to prevent desync, you should use a wired Ethernet connection. There’s no argument. I’ve seen many players improve their gaming experience with just a $10 cable."
The page also offers other ideas and tips.
Finally: Run "ipconfig /all" using the Command Prompt on the affected PC and also on the laptop that works fine. Copy and paste the complete results from both devices, making sure to note the differences between PC and laptop outputs.
I've changed Ethernet cables several times, switching between ONT, router, and PC connections, but nothing alters the results in games. Wireless is a pain, though the laptop works perfectly on it; the PC still suffers. I'll share the findings using the ipconfig /all command below.
