You're encountering a recording of your Warframe gameplay with just sound and a black screen. This might be due to how your OS settings, like Linux Vi or Flatpak, are configured. It could also be a copyright protection measure by Warframe itself. Check your app permissions and settings to see if they're interfering.

I’m new to Linux, but I noticed some games looked black on Windows when capturing screens. Using a capture tool might help here. It could relate to how 3D was shown, which might differ from Linux.

I'm using FreeBSD instead of Linux, but shouldn't I choose 'Screen Capture XSHM' under sources without pipewire? Or is that option missing? If you're capturing an app in fullscreen mode, the 'window capture' feature might be useful. You're also set up with nvenc for the video encoder—do you have that support? You'll need a build that includes nvenc for this. I'd start by trying to record with an encoder other than nvenc to quickly identify the issue.

just logged a note about my recent session in Metro Exodus using these configurations. Everything ran smoothly during recording, with less FPS loss and a cleaner video compared to before, even with the older GPU drivers. No apparent issues detected.

I changed to the source window / x composite and switched the profile to high 10. It didn’t cause a freeze, but I’m not sure why it worked now. Check the private video.
