I’m facing an unusual problem while playing League of Legends on one of my Windows 10 systems. The game occasionally loses focus, which leads to a noticeable drop in frames per second. To temporarily resolve it, I have to switch to alt+tab and return to the game. It seems the issue is consistently activated when using multimedia keys (volume controls) while playing. Since I’m on a dual-boot setup with similar Windows 10 and applications, the problem doesn’t appear there. I’ve tried turning off all non-Microsoft services, but it still happens on this one system, suggesting a specific setting change might be responsible. The FPS reduction isn’t always clear in recordings because they’re capped at 60 FPS while I play at 144 fps, though it’s noticeable in the top-right corner. Clips: https://imgur.com/a/p0dzch9
Hardware: CPU – RYZEN 7 5700X3D; Cooler – Deepcool ak400; Motherboard – MSI B550-A PRO (bios 2024-09-05); RAM – 32GB 3600MHz Kingston; Storage – Samsung 970 evo plus; GPU – Gigabyte RTX 3060TI; Power Supply – FSP Hyper700w (6 years old); OS – Windows 10 21H2; Monitor – ViewSonic Xg2401.
Update: I resolved it by re-enabling the MPO setting in Windows. Restoring that fixed the problem. See this guide: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/ans...ad...sktop-apps

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
I have a dual boot system with a similar Windows 10 and similar apps, and the issue doesn’t occur there.
Just curious, are you running two instances of Windows 10? If so, what versions(not editions) are they?
I would try and see if running DDU helps. Run DDU in Safe Mode to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) then manually reinstall the latest GPU driver sourced from your GPU chip makers support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.
