You've experienced a strange behavior with Fortnite where switching tabs causes crashes in other apps, while the game itself remains stable. This issue seems unique to Fortnite despite your system being fully updated and clean. Have you encountered similar problems with other games or applications?

It’s happening again, but my whole computer stops working. I have to manually press a button to restart, and all my troubleshooting attempts don’t help.

Have you discovered a solution yet? I’m experiencing the same problem, and sometimes opening the tab causes my entire PC to freeze. It only occurs with Fortnite.

For the past two weeks, both machines have performed similarly. Each uses a different setup—one with a 13900k and a 4070, the other with a 9950 and a 4080. All systems are fully patched on Win 11 Pro.

You mentioned two devices: a 12700k and a 4070. It seems you're experiencing issues with both, but haven't found a solution yet.

Tell me about your computer's capabilities, the number of monitors you're using, and the Fortnite settings you're playing with.
