Hi, I'm facing an issue where disconnecting my laptop from Ethernet and reconnecting to Wi-Fi doesn't restore internet access. It seems to require a complete restart. Everything is stored on a shared C drive. Any advice?

A shared C drive is a storage location accessible by multiple users or devices on the same computer. It allows files and data to be stored centrally, making it easier for people to access and collaborate on information.

My shared C drive from your desktop is used across your laptop, and it causes crashes when connection changes occur.

Does the setup indicate which component it connects to—drive or server? Yes, you can detach the drive and reinstall it.

You're asking about the concept of a "shared C drive." It refers to a network location where multiple computers can access files, rather than a physical storage device being moved between devices. It's not about relocating a hard drive or SSD but about sharing a common folder across systems.

Certainly! I want to clarify how the setup works. Are you aiming to start one system remotely from the network while using the other system as a file server?
