I own this laptop at my office—a brand new Asus Zenbook 14X OLED. On the website http://geoportale.comune.torino.it/geoca...ione=mappa, when you zoom in and click on a building, it should display details. However, on this device, regardless of the browser, the window doesn’t appear. Even the loading indicators don’t show up. When I try to click on a building, the left-click doesn’t respond. I’ve been dealing with this issue for several days now because we rely on that site for our work, but no one has found a solution. The webmasters haven’t provided any hints and said it’s not their fault. This window appears as a basic HTML div, while other windows function correctly. Only the one linked to map clicks shows up. I’ve adjusted internet settings, antivirus (just Windows Defender), privacy options, and even booted the OS cleanly. No changes for Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Opera. It seems unrelated to browser settings. The machine itself must be the cause. I’m exhausted and need your assistance. In the screenshots, you should see the window pop up when clicking on a building on the map.
I also don’t think there’s a hardware issue here. If it were hardware-related, since the device is brand new, I’d return it to the place of purchase for replacement. Even if it functions on Linux, I can’t fix it by installing an operating system on the machine. It requires Windows-only software for this task. It must be a software problem that I completely missed.
We are sure it's using Windows 11, but can we execute the program inside a Windows 10 virtual machine? Is it possible to run it with admin privileges? Does it function properly in incognito browsing?
It's not a software application; it's just a web page. I included it in the post to demonstrate what's causing the issue. The page is a basic div element. Running it through a VM to access the map service seems excessive, especially since the problem persists across different browsers and even on another Windows 11 machine in the office. It likely points to a strange Windows setting rather than a browser issue.
