Issue involving Google Drive sharing on a local network Problem with file access through shared links
I've just moved to Google Workspace from OneDrive for our company. I've moved some files to Google Drive and synced them with my PC - all of the files are downloaded and available offline in Shared Drives. I've then shared these over our local network so my colleagues can access, without going through Google Drive. This always worked fine OneDrive. Unfortunately, on Google we've found a bug. When packaging up one of our files (collecting all of the textures used in the scene in a Zip-like file) if any of the resources used are on the network, the package will fail. No errors... you see it made then instantly delete. This occurs on multiple PCs, all of which have access to the files via the network. I've checked all of the Drive permissions, and the network share is definitely Read/Write. Seems like a permissions issue here but I wouldn't even know where to look. Surely there's a lot of Drive users who share files via a local network. Any recommendations??
