Issue in GTA V affecting speed and responsiveness
You're experiencing issues with GTA V after switching from Windows 7 to Windows 10. The game is loading more slowly, and fast-moving buildings suddenly appear in front of you while the road vanishes. It takes a noticeable amount of time to load textures, even when you stop driving. Someone else has likely faced this problem—do you know if others have reported it? If so, what solutions did they use?
GPU struggles to process textures quickly; consider reducing certain settings.
Check if your GPU drivers are current. If not, reinstall them just to be safe.
It functioned flawlessly on Windows 10 with superior configurations than before. I’ve got the newest drivers installed. Is this an issue specific to Windows 10?
I’ve noticed the FPS dropping significantly from around 90 to 7. This started after installing W10, though it seems like just narrowing the draw distance resolved the problem. On version 7 I used to experience memory leaks, but they stopped on W10. Would lowering your draw scale help free up VRAM and ease the issue?
