Issue identified: PC fails to upload with 5800x added.
Checked warranty and found a bent pin caused the post to fail. This is likely an AMD issue. I followed these steps: downloaded the latest BIOS updates for my Aorus X570 Pro WiFi, installed them on a flash drive, updated to f32, and rebooted. The BIOS now shows f32. I swapped in my 3700X and everything worked perfectly. After a CMOS reset, the light flashed once when I powered it back up, but it only appeared after turning on after the reset. The 5800X still didn’t boot properly. I’m wondering if there’s a missing step or compatibility issue with the new BIOS version. I’ll stick with the 3700X for now but hope to upgrade eventually. I haven’t come across a hardware setup where the 5800 stops working while the 3700 remains functional. That doesn’t rule it out entirely. Would you like me to process an RMA for the CPU? I’m assuming there’s a valid reason preventing it from being handled.
I think I’ll just return it under warranty and check if they believe it’s faulty. I’m not able to test it on another machine, so I can’t confirm further. Everything looks normal based on what I’ve seen so far. Right now, it’s running well with the 3700x and doesn’t move much with the 5800x. It seems like a typical issue.
Hello.. Remove all Sata and USB drives. Disconnect the power supply. Install the Ryzen 5000. Wipe CMOS (or simply discharge the CMOS battery for 5 minutes). Re-flash F32 once the board is ready. If that fails, try flashing F30 before proceeding with F32.
