Good afternoon everyone. I’ve been working on assembling my PC for some time now. Here are the details: ASUS Rampage VI Extreme Encore, Core i9 9940X, Corsair RAM DDR4 4x8Gb, Crucial P1 1Tb, and a 480GB SSD connected via SATA 3 Sandisk Ultra. It took me quite some time to set everything up—custom liquid cooling and a Corsair 1000D—and it felt like a dream after spending nearly 24 hours in the sanitized environment due to the pandemic. Now everything seems broken. The CPU is completely dead, Amazon sent me a replacement, but I had to pay extra for it soon. The motherboard appears faulty, and ASUS hasn’t confirmed anything yet. They told me not to contact them directly, but I’m trying to verify if the issue might be more serious than it looks.

On the drive side, the SATA drives keep flashing continuously and move very slowly over the SSD via SATA. I’m not sure if it’s the drivers or something else. When I connect the dimm.2, only the second drive shows up, even though the LED lights up. In the first bay it works perfectly. I’m really frustrated. This is my daily computer. It’s the third ASUS product I’ve bought, and I’m seriously thinking about skipping the rest—my monitor is broken too, and this is my last purchase. The software is terrible, and I’m desperate. Do anyone have any advice or solutions? I’ve spent 2,000 USD already, and I still haven’t received a refund for the dead CPU. I’m worried I might lose everything if things don’t improve soon. Please help me!

The problem is clear. CPU appears to be unresponsive, which is uncommon unless it was heavily used. RGB settings aren't functioning—remove them and check other components. Memory capacity seems adequate; consider testing with fewer drives. Start by running only two sticks in slots A2 and B2, then inspect the drives afterward.

The problems revolve around the issues I outlined, without any AURA support, SATA drives not functioning and M.2 drives not showing up in certain ports. Errors appear during startup. The system was completely unresponsive as shown on the screen, even though it was physically present and working fine when the CPU changed. RGB display malfunctioned and other complications arose. I attempted to isolate the problem (such as using only M.2 drives) but it continued to fail. Even without SATA drives, the LED kept flashing erratically. Memory performance remains unaffected.
