GPU performance should match a 2080 model, allowing smooth 144hz operation with modest graphics settings. OC might not make much difference. Have you tested PBO instead? Also consider DDU—launch in safe mode and follow the prompts. After rebooting to safe mode, open options, disable driver updates, select "Clean," then restart and reinstall drivers. Did you previously have two RAM modules and now have four? Was the system capable of handling four sticks as well? The official specs indicate a 3600 should support around 4.2GHz PBO. Are there any temperature concerns for either the CPU or GPU when under load?

4.2 covers some boost features, yet the overall improvement remains limited. Running on a single core still underperforms compared to the stock PBO version.

Yes, it's possible that boosting to 4.2 could improve performance for gaming. Some games do require varying levels of core usage, so optimizing accordingly might be beneficial.

This configuration outperforms manually configuring each core at 4.0GHz due to optimized performance settings

That was my main point, thanks for explaining.

Thanks, then I’ll attempt it. Even though I repeated myself, I already installed the drivers for the GPU and chipset yesterday during a fresh Windows setup, but I’m sure I can try again using ddu.

Even after a fresh setup, Windows loads a distinct driver, regardless of your preference to skip driver installations.

I've consistently used 4 sticks of RAM PBO OFF, yet I've already attempted to manually boost it to 4.2 GHz without success—it keeps failing and the system crashes. At this stage, I'm questioning whether it's worth trying with PBO. Regarding temperatures, without overclocking or undervolting the GPU, I'm concerned about spikes reaching up to 106°C in hotspots; on average, it's around 85–90°C, while my CPU runs at 4.0GHz with an average of 55–60°C.
