Sorry about that. And even if I had it, it wouldn’t help much because my laptop doesn’t support DVD readers (that Ubuntu thing again!).
Well, did you try what I suggested (remove your A/V and any security software, update your drivers, and restart?)
Windows upgrades are known for taking along time. I would wait it out or just wait until a USB drive becomes available.
I agree, it keeps happening. I think the Windows 7 version on the laptop could be the issue, but it's too late to fix it now.
Wait for the USB drive to arrive. A fresh installation would be ideal. Don't forget to save your files beforehand.
