Hey there, I'm facing a problem installing Windows on my PC. I've built four units with identical components, but three of them worked perfectly. The issue starts when you upload the installation image as a picture on the screen—it appears to move differently, then freezes and won't boot until you remove and reinsert the 24-pin connector. It doesn't shut down in BIOS after a similar period, even though it recognizes my NVMe SSD and RAM, and the CPU temperature stays around 35°C. I recreated the USB installation using Microsoft's tool again, but it didn't work this time. Someone, could you help figure out what might be causing this? Build details: Case and PSU: Fractal Node 202 with SFX PSU 450W SSD: Samsung 960 EVO 250 GB RAM: Corsair Value Select 8 GB RAM Single Channel MOBO: MSI B250i Gaming Pro AC Thanks for your time.

Occasionally power sources can behave oddly with a computer. If you find an unused PSU nearby, it might be worth testing it (provided it meets the required wattage).

No matter the outcome, Windows 7 isn't compatible with your processor. It's outdated. Upgrade to Windows 10 instead.

Sorry, I wasn't ready to respond until now. My delay was due to a hectic schedule. I'm attempting to set up Windows 10, but I received the incorrect image, used a different power supply, and the problem persists.

Through my blood sweet and tears I observed the EZ Debug LEDs illuminating. The initial glow came from the top. I checked the manual for the motherboard, which indicated CPU not detected. I tested with another CPU of the same type and it produced the same outcome. The problem alternates between failing to POST due to the debug light and needing to enter the installer, pausing at various times in the "Expanding Windows Files" section. The only change I made was disconnecting and reconnecting the 24-pin connector, and swapping the RAM stick in a different slot. It seems neither the RAM slot nor its position affects the issue, as both problems occurred regardless. Currently, two out of five PCs are functioning without issues, having done so for about a week. Three of them experience the described problems. I'm aiming to be as precise as possible, hoping it could help someone more knowledgeable.
