Issue encountered while setting up Windows 10.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this. Your support means a lot. I recently purchased a new computer that was prebuilt without a Windows installation. Having installed Windows on several machines before, I expected the process to proceed easily. But when I tried to insert my USB drive and begin the setup, I encountered an error: "Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code 0x8007025D." I was puzzled and decided to look up the error code online. After trying various solutions—disabling XMP, ensuring secure boot was off, reformatting the drive, and re-seating RAM—I still faced issues. Now I’m wondering if anyone has dealt with this problem before and found a different solution. Your insights would be incredibly helpful.
Get the EFI drivers from the download, pick them during the disk selection. Locate the files you saved and unpacked on your USB drive. Remove any partitions before choosing or installing your drive.
It seems my USB drive had an issue or was defective. Usually it functions properly, but using a brand-new one resolved the problem. Thanks for all the alternatives. Unfortunately, it was quite straightforward, haha.
