Hello, I have Windows 10 1909 installed and want to upgrade to 2004 or 20H2. Once the update starts, it begins downloading but halts with error code 0xc190012e. I’ve already run sfc and DISM, cleared Windows Update files, and used the Media Creation Tool, yet the problem persists. With many programs installed, I prefer not to reinstall unless necessary. Also, note my CPU is i9-9900K, RAM is 32 GB, Corsair Vengeance RGB with XMP at 3000MHz, GPU is RTX 3080, SSD is Samsung 970 Evo Plus (2 TB).

I’ve checked all the suggested solutions. You mentioned the Windows error page at https://windowsreport.com/error-0xc190012e/.

You could transfer the ISO to another machine and then apply it to your current setup.

You tried using the computer at work, but the problem stayed the same

The same error appears regardless of whether you download the ISO fully or proceed with the update installation.

The only result I discovered was for 1903, not anything related to 2004 or 20H2

Looking for potential fixes? Check if newer versions with security patches or optional features are available and worth trying.
