It started as a 2TB Sata SSD inside a striped array of three identical SSDs. Two of them worked well after conversion, but the third didn’t clean properly and can’t be converted at all. Any advice would be appreciated.

Select the disc via the right-click menu (where it displays DISK 0 in gray) and choose Covert to basic disk. Alternatively, use the Diskpart command to convert the dynamic disk back to a basic one.

Consider using a Linux USB drive and gparted to rebuild the GPT partition layout.
