Issue discussed in 8.1 trial
I have the 8.1 90 day trial since I can't afford Windows. I'm a student without a job, so no income. I need to look after my younger sister, which makes my mom hesitant about me getting a real job. That's why I applied for the trial. After the first 90 days, it let me reinstall, but then I wiped the PC and reinstalled again. After the next 90 days passed (though it probably expired earlier than 90), it refused to reinstall and showed an error about not having a Windows core. I tried fixing the code and didn't get any information about why it wouldn't activate after the trial ended. I've searched online but found nothing.
Start by avoiding keyloggers since they're against the law and risky. Second, the Win10 tech preview is a genuine OS (though in development). Third, consider Linux—it's free and consumes fewer resources than Windows. And fourth, when you need assistance, you'll receive it. YOU MUST BE HONEST WITH THE HELPER OR YOU WON'T RECEIVE HELP IN THE FUTURE. I get why you'd feel discouraged with such a negative attitude.
I own 105 titles on my Steam profile and yes, the games look sharp when you use Wine and other tools to run Windows apps on Linux. It works just fine for me.
Some of these might already be native, haven't you tried using a native client? My Linux laptop is quite old and struggles with running games. All the attempts I made worked fine. Still, if you can purchase 105 games, you should be able to afford a $50 Win8.1 license from G2A.
I'm only 16 years old and didn't have a job, but I had money from my school work. I got some pain, but since it was summer I didn’t have a job. Now I just watch my sisters for my parents. I didn’t own my gaming PC until about a month after the program ended—two months before school started. All the games I bought were because I knew I was saving for one.
