I've encountered an unusual issue with my Remote NDIS internet sharing device. Initially, it worked perfectly via USB, but suddenly it wouldn't start automatically when Windows launched. Now the system tray shows a red cross and the adapter appears in network connections. After several troubleshooting steps—disabling the device, refreshing network settings, and even trying to reinstall—I still faced problems. The Device Manager displayed an error message, and the event logs recorded issues each time I booted up. Recently, after some digging, I found a persistent error code in the properties and repeated the fix, but it failed after a restart. I've tried uninstalling, changing ports, updating drivers, and repairing system files, yet nothing resolved the matter. I'm seeking advice from others who might have similar experiences. Thank you.
